Card in a Box

"Before" - I decided it needed something more
Tweaked a little!

Hi Everyone! The Cutting Cafe Design Team challenge for the first part of June was to make a "Card in a Box". You can't see it in my photo, but the outside of the box is covered with a coordinating rose patterned paper that has a little bit of glitter. It reminds me of vintage wallpaper. I wish I was a better photographer! And a more creative crafter - check out the link above to see what the rest of the designers did. A-mazing!! I really hope to learn from them. This card will be going to work for my boss - her birthday is coming up. I hope she likes it!
Anyway, please try this box for yourself - it is easier than it looks! Regina even has a video tutorial to show you how it is done. You can find the template here. Have fun!

    1. Hey Julie! I actually just left you site! Thanks for the compliment - I am still new at all this! I am going to try to do a little more to this card. it is seeming a little bland to me. I'll upload an update one soon . . . I hope! I looking forward to being on the team together.

  3. It was beautiful before, but by adding those wonderful gems and that celebrate banner, it took it to another level. The colors and patterns are gorgeous and your boss is going to be tickled pink!!
