"Block Challenge" - I Woof You!
Connected Lid Block |
♥ Happy Sunday, everyone!♥

The Cutting Cafe Design Team challenge this time was to use the block sets. I chose to use the "Connected Lid Block". I made it into a little box to hold some doggie cookies to give away to my little doggie friend. And I do mean "little" - Gracie is under 5 pounds.

After cutting the block, I decided I'd cut a smaller scalloped square, run it through my Cuttlebug, and stitch it to the main block. But when I searched Design Space for "scalloped square", a scalloped heart with the little paw came up as a free image (in other words . . . included with the subscription). It says it is from the Four Legged Friends cartridge. So needless to say - it sent me off in a whole different direction since I am a sucker for pet designs!
NOTE: later when I did the same search, it did NOT come up, so I searched "scalloped paw" and was able to find it. Don't ask me how that search function thinks!
I can see using this box as a gift box for many small items. It cut out beautifully on my Cricut Explore.
