Friendship Tea Jar and Recipe

I'm sharing a quick project today for a little gift I'm giving to my friend at work.

If you're a member of the Cricut Design Space - Official Facebook group, you can view my original post HERE. If not, you should join!

It is the anniversary of my first day and work (in 1998!) and I want to recognize her. She took me under her wing and had lunch with me so I wouldn't have to eat alone. We are still great friends to this day.

This is also a quick gift I whip up every year at Christmas and have on hand to give out. Feel free to scale this up or down for a perfect fit for you jar. I wouldn't go much smaller though - the details will get too fine. The design as shared is the larger size shown.

So, here is my Friendship Tea Jar label and matching tag for "Friendship Tea", recipe included. Does anyone remember this? I remember my mom introducing it to me when I was in my teens. It goes by many other names - Russian Tea, Tang Tea, Christmas Tea and Spiced Tea are a few. But don't let that stop you from using this jar for anything else! Celebrate your friends in any way you can think of.

This project uses Print Then Cut to print the tag front  and the recipe for the back, because I love that professional look.

Recipe for the Friendship Tea:

I cup orange drink mix (Tang)

1/2 cup lemonade mix (I like Countrytime)

1/2 cup unsweetened iced tea mix

1 teaspoon cinnamon

1/2 teaspoon ground cloves

Mix everything together and add to your jar. I usually use a funnel or roll a piece of parchment paper into a cone and use that to pour it in. Go slow! Otherwise you'll inhale a plume of tea!

To enjoy:

Add 2 heaping teaspoons to a cup of hot water - adjust the amount of tea mix to taste

~ENJOY~
